Often people offered me food and drinks while I was fundraising. Some in Spanish speaking areas where I was invited to come in sit down and eat. Maybe the one Chinese woman who not only fed our whole Team of 4 but also opened her house for us to take shower and rest. She was a very beautiful person because she did all this going against the people of her church who thought we were not to be spoken to and much less heard. I still remember her kindness.
