Remembering a Christmas Eve, around 10 degrees in Dallas! We’d been selling frozen carnations and on the way home the MFT van broke down. So there’s our team hunkered down in the back of a pickup being driven back to our center by some kind sole. Somehow we all survived without frostbite or hospitalization for exposure or pneumonia. Ah, those were the days, my friend… After I left MFT, even when I was in UniWorld or working full time I still fundraised at a flower stand on major days like Christmas. The money was just too good to pass up. (Our friend) Michelle knows she’d watch our daughter and let us share her family Christmas when we’d finish. Thanks Michelle!
